Metin Ertürk was born in 1989 in Eskişehir. He started ceramics education in vocational high school, he graduated from Uşak University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics Department in 2015. In 2013, he worked at the Michel François Porcelain in England and was trained about studio pottery. He participated in many national and international workshops, symposiums, exhibitions and competitions. He won 5 awards from the competitions he participated in. He opened his first solo exhibition in Japan in 2016. He graduated his master’s degree at Hacettepe University with his thesis on Terra Sigillata Slip in 2019. His work has been published in America, Thailand and UK. Metin Ertürk, who continues his works in his workshop in İstanbul, continues clay throwing class and his PhD education in arts at the Ceramic and Glass Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
