Where are you escaping? Ubud in Bali.

What was the purpose of your travel? Holiday.

With how many people did you travel? Just me. I usually travel alone.

Where did you stay? And is there something special we should know about this hotel/house? I rent a room in Ubud. The most interesting detail was the traditional music which is coming from the next door every morning.

What did you most like about the trip? One day I started walking in the rice fields and then monsoon rains started. It was too late to go back and I was alone. I walked 3 hours in the rain. When I went back home I was too tired and soaked but so happy.

Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip? When I was walking , I saw a crowd on the main road. Someone told me there will be a cremation ceremony. A strange man was dancing. Instruments I have never seen are being played. We went to the monkey forest; there were decorated headstones. Monkeys were foraging. The music never stopped… Then suddenly the fire burned. The body was being cremated.

Favourite restaurant(s) or food you have tried during your trip? Indonesian food became my favorite cuisine in the world after this trip. I already miss drinking fresh tropical juice, balinese coffee and eating fresh papaya jam at breakfast. You should definitely try Alchemy Restaurant in Bali.

What are the must tries of the city? Their traditional music and their offerings named ‘banten’ which is prepared every morning for the gods and of course Bali massage.

Any hidden secrets you could whisper to us? If you have chance to go to Bali, you should take the boat from Padang Bai to Gili Islands. My favorite island is Gili Trawangan.
