1.Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
We as two sisters; Burcu and Buket Haraççıoğlu are the founders and creative directors of Haracci Swimwear brand since 2021; having been in corporate business life for more than 15 years, blending our experiences and interest in fashion and design with passion for travel, nature and sun, which naturally evolved into a brand that celebrates effortless luxury by the sea pursuing our dreams.
Our logo, two interlocking bronze and brightly colored suns, showcases us as two sisters, as well as minimal, elegant, stylish and timeless designs, from the warmth of the sun to the coolness of the evening.
All our collections feature timeless designs, high-quality craftsmanship, and the sun-soaked elegance of Mediterranean life. We wanted to create swimwear that feels luxurious yet effortless — pieces that women can feel confident and beautiful in, whether they’re lounging by the pool or sailing into the horizon.

2. What does ”escape” mean to you?
Escape is a return — to yourself. It’s stepping away from noise, routine, and expectation, and leaning into the quiet magic of nature, sun, and solitude. It’s about feeling present, renewed, and more connected to what really matters.
3. Do you have a summer ritual?
Absolutely — we start every summer with a saltwater swim at sunrise. It’s meditative, refreshing, and sets the tone for slow, sun-drenched days. We also keep a travel journal every summer — a mix of sketches, pressed flowers, and passing thoughts.

4. Where is it you escape to habitually for true downtime?
Bodrum has become that sacred place for us. There’s something in the Aegean air — a softness, a calm — that feels like a deep breath for the soul.
5. How long have you been visiting this place, and what draws you to it?
We’ve been coming to Bodrum for almost decades. It’s the balance that captivates both of us: rustic yet refined, slow yet spirited. And the light — golden and warm — changes how you see the world.
6. Do you have an anecdote or unforgettable memory to share?
One evening at Maçakızı, the sea completely still, I watched a spontaneous poetry reading under the stars. Someone read a passage by Seferis, and the entire terrace went silent. It felt like time paused — and everyone present felt it.
7. What about the best to: Do, see, stay, eat and drink at this particular escape?
Do: Early morning swims, yoga sessions and long boat days.
See: The ancient ruins of Pedasa or sunsets at Gümüşlük.
Stay: Maçakızı or Scorpios— For serenity and joyful moments.
Eat: Grilled octopus at Mimoza or a long lunch at Orfoz.
Drink: A chilled glass of local rosé, always by the water.

8. Who are your favorite summer escape travel partners and why?
Close friends who understand the joy of doing nothing — the ones who can spend a whole day with you in silence or laughter, or partying depending on the mood. Also, our sketchbook — always.
9. What’s a new summer escape you embarked on this summer?
This year we explored Chios and Samos islands by boat— anchoring in quiet coves and shimmering blues, exploring olive groves, and collecting inspiration for the next collection.
10. What’s your ultimate escape soundtrack?
Sade, always. Mixed with some Ibrahim Maalouf and occasional Bossa Nova. Timeless, soulful, and slow.
12. Which film do you revisit for the summer?
Stealing Beauty by Bernardo Bertolucci — for its atmosphere, light, and the aching beauty of a Tuscan summer.
13. Where do you hope to head next?
Patmos or maybe a quiet corner of Sicily — somewhere with history, hidden coves, and a sense of mystery.
