Mehmet Eren Eskikan started to express himself as an artist with his drawings in 2009, Eskikan graduated from Dumlupınar University Fine Arts Faculty Ceramic and Glass Department in 2014. He completed his master’s degree at Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Ceramics Department right after. During this time, he took part in various national and international workshops and group exhibitions.
Eskikan, who started his way with the production of figurative ceramics, was deemed worthy of 2 awards during his education. He is currently working on decorative forms and dinnerware for daily use in his own workshop. Inspired by nature and daily life in the forms he produces, Eskikan directs his forms with different colors and textures. The artist adopts random elements in his works with the Hakame technique using engobe.
