What is your most unforgettable escape? My last visit to New York, September 2014.
What was the purpose of your travel? One of my photos was on Instagram’s first public exhibition, so I went to participate in the opening.
With how many people did you travel? By myself.
Where did you stay? In a cute flat in one of the coolest New York locations —Dumbo.
What did you most like about the trip? I met so many Instagram talents from New York and other parts of the world. Also it was thrilling to explore Brooklyn neighborhoods this time.
Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip? One day I was supposed to meet my friends in Williamsburg. I had to take the East River Ferry to go to Williamsburg from Dumbo. But I missed the boats in the last minute – both in the morning and in the evening. But at the end of the day, with a perfect timing, I witnessed the most charming sunset I’ve ever seen while I was still on the East River Ferry. Thanks to the boats I missed!
Your most surprising find during the trip? Path Train Station’s fascinating interior.
Favorite restaurant or food you have tried during your trip? Joe’s Pizza, Brooklyn Roasting Company, Two Hands, Happy Bones, House of Small Wonder.
What is the must tries of the city? Try the East River Ferry for transportation, it’s really fun. Visit Brooklyn Bridge Park, take a stroll and enjoy the adorable Manhattan view.
Any hidden gems you could whisper to us? There’s a building in Flatiron District where you can see the poetic Flatiron Building view behind a window frame. Unfortunately can’t recall the address.
Would you go back? Always.
Could you list a few of your favorite finds you came back with? These can be anything from traditional finds to airport finds to hotel creams! All kinds of art magazines in a small shop called Soho News International and the amazing banana pudding in Magnolia Bakery.
Any tips that might be useful to know before going there? Wake early and watch the sunrise on the Brooklyn Bridge. Wake early every day and enjoy the streets before they get crowded.
Next stop you would like to visit? Paris, India, Cambodia or southern Italy.
