Dear Kate, what is your most unforgettable escape? Harbour Island, Bahamas.
What was the purpose of your travel? Fun, sun, painting, family time.
With how many people did you travel? My husband and daughter- it’s one of the few trips we do just us.
Where did you stay? Rented a private cottage on the water.
What did you most like about the trip? Utter simplicity and peacefulness with very good food and natural, untouched beauty.
Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip? Painting every day while my daughter napped.
Your most surprising find during the trip? To find the charming architecture is mostly all in tact from the British Colonial period.
Favorite restaurant or food you have tried during your trip? SipSip for lunch and The Landing for dinner and drinks. I also love to cook there.
What is the must tries of the city? Swim in that pastel blue water.
Any hidden gems you could whisper to us? Secrets need to stay secrets!
Would you go back? Every year.
Could you list a few of your favorite finds you came back with? These can be anything from traditional finds, to airport finds, to hotel creams! The local hot sauce, and the Bahamian hand-woven straw bags, baskets and mats.
Next stop you would like to visit? Demet and I are planning to go to Patmos and I can’t wait!!
