To visit a friend and to discover the country

Bucharest, Zabola in Transylvania, Rasnov, Brasov, Sinaia
5.What did you most like about the trip?
The hiking part was the highlight of my trip. There are amazing national parks and mountains where you can go climbing or hiking. It is highly recommended to get a guide for hiking since there are wild animals and the paths are not that easy.
6.Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip?
For the first time in my life, I saw a bear in its natural habitat. This was definitely a unique experience!

Zabola Estate in Transylvania.
The hotel has been owned by the Zabola family for more than 500 years.
The family still lives inside the estate. During the communist era of Romania, the family lost the estate and they just recently got it back. Since then, they’ve been managing it as a hotel. There are different activities that you can engage in during your stays, such as hiking, horse riding, bear watching, and biking.

Definitely!
10.Any tips that might be useful to know before going there?
It is important to have someone who knows the country. It is not easy to find the hidden gems by yourself. Also to understand the culture of the country, it is highly recommended to read about the history before going there.

12.What does traveling mean to you?
Traveling means freedom, fresh air, escaping the ordinary and living in the moment to me.
