2. Do you have a summer ritual?
I make it a point to take a vacation with friends or family. It’s become a kind of ritual. Oh, and every summer, especially around August, I find myself feeling a bit down, haha. That’s another one. Whether I’m at the airport with my little rituals or collecting stones from the beach, these moments have become essential to me.
3. Where is it you escape to habitually for true downtime?
Assos is my go-to sanctuary.
4. How long have you been going there and why?
I’ve been visiting Assos for about 5 years now. It’s incredibly peaceful and the one place where I truly feel at ease. There, I can retreat from the world and not have to venture out unless I want to.
5. What does that place mean to you?
Assos is more than just a destination for me. It’s filled with memories of family and friends. It even signifies certain beginnings—some quite spiritual or karmic, let’s say. And the sea? So clean and holds a special place in my heart. Let’s not forget the delectable octopus and zucchini fritters!
6. What’s a new summer escape you embarked on this summer?
I discovered Hydra this summer. I felt like I belonged there and I’m definitely planning to go back.
7. Do you have an anecdote or unforgettable memory to share?
I remember spending time with a loved one. The feeling was so profound that it permeated the entire vacation. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the cats’ unguarded trust towards humans was something unforgettable.
8. What about the best to: Do, see, stay, eat and drink at this particular escape?
Do jump off the cliffs and visit the pristine beaches. Definitely see the contemporary art exhibitions. Stay at FOS Hydra Residence, it’s a great choice. Be sure to head to Sunset and indulge in calamari and tarama. Drink Paloma at 1821, it’s a must-try!
9. Who are your favorite summer escape travel partners and why?
I adore traveling with family, friends, and my partner. Our trips are filled with cherished memories, and I can’t imagine these getaways without them.
10. What’s your ultimate escape soundtrack?
Harvest Moon from Poolside is my ultimate jam.

I’ve been engrossed in Supermarket by Bobby Hall.
12. And what film do you return to for the ultimate summer cinema experience?
Dazed and Confused never gets old.
13. What does escape mean to you?
For me, escape signifies a time to rest. It offers a glimmer of hope, a genuine opportunity to get away from it all, turn my back on social media, and avoid work- related stress.

Ok, this response might surprise you a bit: I’ve got my sights set on Rize, followed by Paris Fashion Week.
