Lian when did you escape? Last Month.
What was the purpose of your travel? Mind journey exactly.. Plus the elephants.
With how many people did you travel? My daughter Sahara and my husband.
Where did you stay? Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp.
What did you most like about the trip? Being with the elephants was an amazing experience. Being far away always feels good as you get lost in transition, plus the nature was out of this world.
Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip? Lumbering through the jungle on elephant back and bathing in the river with them was absolutely once in a lifetime experience.
Your most surprising find during the trip? Suki, 6 months old baby elephant..
Favorite restaurant or food you have tried during your trip? Anantara’s food was the best Thai food I have ever tried.
Any hidden gems you could whisper to us? Burma, 25 minutes away from Chiang Rai is must see.
Would you go back? Definitely. When I finish my travel list of must see cities I would go back there..
Could you list a few of your favorite finds you came back with? Well my favorite find was mango and sticky rice!
Any tips that might be useful to know before going there? Don’t waste time in Bangkok and stay in the elephant camp at least for 5 nights..
Next stop you would like to visit? Peru.
