Where do you escape? I am a workaholic, but when I do, I love to escape to Alacati.
What was the purpose of your travel? Just to blow some steam, relax and enjoy the peaceful environment of the city.
With how many people did you travel? I love traveling with my best friends, so last time we were in 6 total.
Where did you stay? I stayed in Alavya.
What did you most like about the trip? The quality time spent with my family and friends in a small town that is magical in terms of atmosphere, small restaurants, beaches, and happy hours.
Could you share an unforgettable memory about the trip? I became friends with passionate locals that were born in Alacati who showed me images of the past. Quite memorable moment, how the town got transformed to one of the hotspots in Turkey.
Your most surprising find during the trip? ICECREAM, Dondurmino Gelato
Favorite restaurant or food you have tried during your trip? My favorite restaurant is definetly Asma Yapragi, which is a cozy place that serves home food.
Any hidden gems you could whisper to us? Les Benjamins pop up store in Hacimemis, Alacati.
Would you go back? Yes, for sure!
Could you list a few of your favorite finds you came back with? Dutlu Kahve, Alancha, Nar, Before Sunset, and 7800 Cesme.
Any tips that might be useful to know before going there? During high summer pre-book your stay and restaurants, because it’s a small town and limited seats in the best restaurants.
Next stop you would like to visit? I am excited to visit Acapulco in Mexico this year.
